Registration is now open for the award winning Manufacturing & Engineering exhibition and conference that returns to the North East on 5-6 July. Now in its third year, Manufacturing & Engineering is the leading exhibition and conference in the North East, celebrating manufacturing technology and design engineering and their importance to the economy of the Northern Powerhouse.
Manufacturing & Engineering comprises three key elements: keynote conference sessions from industry leaders, practical workshops and an exhibition of over 90 suppliers. In response to feedback from previous visitors the 2017 show will feature a new subcontractor village, hosting subcontractors from the North East alongside returning global suppliers.
New for this year will be a virtual reality demonstration area where visitors will be able to take part in hands-on demonstrations of the latest VR design and manufacturing technology. VR technology enables operations and design teams to review virtual prototypes to highlight manufacturing issues earlier, to better understand the human factors implications and to be able to train production line staff to get it right first time. Virtalis and the AMRC will be on-hand to show visitors how their businesses can benefit from another dimension.
The show gives visitors from the North of England and Scotland a great opportunity to source new suppliers, test equipment, acquire expert knowledge and forge new supply chain relationships at one, time efficient event.
Manufacturing & Engineering is delivered in association with Eureka, Machinery and Works Management magazines. Leading trade bodies and institutions including the Advanced Manufacturing Forum, AMAP, NewcastleGateshead, the North East LEP, and the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED) support the event.
